Sonshine Creative is a purpose-driven creative nonprofit organization commissioned by God and founded by Summer Holt to serve Christ-centered organizations by helping them communicate their messages, missions, and purpose through strategic visual communication.
Born from the heart of the Father and entrusted to Summer as a creative calling, Sonshine Creative brings together visual identity strategy, digital marketing, graphic design, web design, and visual communication and storytelling to help Christ-centered organizations extend their reach, connect with the people they are called to serve, communicate their message with clarity and purpose, and create a greater impact in the world for the glory of God.
Meet the Founder
My name is Summer Holt.
First and foremost, I am a devoted follower, lover and worshipper of Jesus Christ who saved, healed, and set me free - body, soul, & spirit. Glory to His Name. I owe Him everything and without Him, I can do nothing, so I do nothing without HIM!
I am also a gifted artist and visual communicator. I possess education, skills and expertise in web design & development, graphic design, creative problem-solving, and many other gifts and skills the Lord has entrusted me to.
He has given me a passion for helping purpose-driven, Christ-centered organizations transform their messages and missions into strategic visual communication that extends their reach to their intended audiences, communicates their message with clarity and purpose, and creates meaningful impact in the world the Lord Jesus has commissioned them to serve.
My journey into art & design began with technology. With a degree and background in Computer Science and more than a decade of experience in web design and development, I have developed a unique understanding of how technology and creativity can work together to solve communication problems.
That path eventually led me to pursue my Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design, expanding my ability to approach communication not only from a technical perspective, but through strategy, visual storytelling, design, and audience understanding.
Today, I bring these disciplines together through Sonshine Creative, a non profit organization founded for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission, bringing Glory and Honor to God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and His Holy Spirit.
Why We Exist
Sonshine Creative exists as an expression of the gifts, talents, education, skills, and expertise the Lord has entrusted to me. As a gifted artist, visual communicator, and software developer, I bring together my experience in web design and development, graphic design, creative problem-solving, technology, strategy, visual storytelling, and audience understanding to help others communicate their messages effectively and meaningfully.

Through Sonshine Creative, my mission is to steward the gifts He has entrusted to me by using creativity, technology, strategy, and visual communication to serve organizations whose purposes extend beyond themselves; to help them communicate who they are, what they do, and why they do it; to reach the people they have been commissioned to serve; and ultimately, to use the work of my hands to honor the One to whom I owe everything.
This is Sonshine Creative: using the gifts He has given me to help others communicate the message and fulfill the mission He has given them—all for His glory.

Everything we do begins with a desire to honor God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit through the gifts, creativity, and expertise He has entrusted to us. Sonshine Creative exists to use those gifts with excellence, integrity, and purpose—ultimately seeking to reflect His love and character through the work we create and the organizations we serve.
Christian Churches & Ministries
We help Christ-centered churches and ministries communicate their message, programs, events, and resources so they can better reach the people they are called to serve.
Nonprofit & Community Organizations
We help Christ-centered organizations with meaningful missions communicate clearly and connect people with the resources, programs, and support they provide.
Startups & the Underserved
We serve startup businesses and entrepreneurs who are building from the ground up, with a special heart for single mothers, single fathers, and those who have been underserved or overlooked. Through creative and technical support, we help bring their ideas to life, strengthen their presence, and connect them with the people they are called to serve.
My Journey
My path into art and design began through technology.
With a background in Computer Science, I started my career solving technical challenges as a mainframe programmer before transitioning into web design and development.
As I have worked with businesses and nonprofit organizations over the years, I discovered that my greatest passion wasn't building websites, it was helping people communicate their ideas through purpose driven visual design.
That realization led me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design, where I expanded my skills in branding, editorial design, marketing, typography, user experience, and visual storytelling.
Today, I combine the analytical mindset of a software developer with the creativity of an artist and designer to create visual identity, websites, and marketing collateral of all kinds that amplify voices, engage audiences, and drive measurable results.
Our Approach
We don't begin a project by asking, "What should it look like?"
We begin by asking... "Who are you trying to reach?....What story are you trying to tell?...What action do you want people to take?"
Those answers shape every design decision that follows.
We believe effective design is built on strategy, not just trends. Every color, typeface, image, and interaction should serve a purpose and move people toward a desired outcome.
